Blog Time

So this is my blog time. Danae is watching Kleine Roter Traktor (little red tractor) and colouring intermittently so I have a few minutes.
Our mornings here in Andelfingen are pretty slow paced. Not just due to me feeling under the weather due to pregnancy either. There is almost always a fog that covers everything here in the morning. It is gone by about 10:30am but until then I just feel like staying in and keeping warm. By lunch time there is usually a nice bright sunshine, I still can't get over how quickly the weather changes here!
Danae had her first haircut yesterday. I trimmed her bangs and a little at the back. Hardly enough to have a lock to send Grandma and one for Danae's baby book. 20 months. That's how long it took her to have enough hair to cut!
I had another doctor's appointment yesterday, and he says that I'm healthy and fine. I go for my official ultrasound (the unofficial one the doctor did at his office) in Winterthur (the closest city to us) on Thursday. My mom-in-law will come with me, Rudy has to work, and it should be pretty cool. My mom-in-law missed out on having ultrasounds when she was preggos with her kids so this will be her first ultrasound :) It will also be nice for me to have a translator there that knows the terms they use and can translate. Rudy is great, but when it comes to pregnancy terms and "woman" terms he is still learning too :)
Hopefully we will be able to take pics and a movie of the ultrasound and then I can post them.
Well, must run. Need to get to the grocery store and home again before Erinn is here for the day. Philippe (Rudy's cousin) and Sandra (Philippe's wife) are going to enjoy a kidless day out together for Sandra's birthday. And I will have my first chance to try out my new double stroller! So exciting.
