Big Monkey Comes to Lunch

This was lunchtime on Thursday. Big Monkey had been sitting in her highchair (quite normal, she often gives her stuffed animals a little snack mid-morning), but now it was time for lunch and Danae needed to sit in her own chair. That's ok Mommy, Big Monkey can just sit in Daddy's spot. And then she started to share her lunch with him so I got him a plate. Nobody likes a messy monkey!
The funniest part for me was after lunch while I made Danae a bottle for nap time she disappeared. I found her tucking Big Monkey in for his nap... in Daddy's spot in our bed.

Danae is very much a Daddy's girl and maybe she misses him during the day. Her choice of pseudo Daddy is quite ironic though. That's all I'm sayin'.
