A Slippery Slope

So this is an account of how good parents go bad.
It is such a short distance we hardly noticed.

We had a quiet weekend.
Rudy did some work.

We ate some good food

We (the 'we' not including me) put together our new BBQ.

We were feeling hopeful considering we had snow this weekend
(of course we had snow, I bragged that Spring was here last week)

We played

The kids were cute as usual

And then last night it happened.
NaeNae has been learning to count on her fingers. She is getting very good.
She wanted to tell us that she wanted one chocolate after dinner
Her face was scrunched in utter concentration. She went through each finger.

And ended up on this one.

And was very proud.

Other (good) parents would politely tell their daughter that that finger is not the correct one to use.
Not us.
We laughed so hard we cried and ran to get the camera.

I love your tails. Rudy looks good in the pink backpack.
The finger story is hilarious. About a year ago, C walked into the kitchen with her middle finger up and said...we are not ever supposed to do this cause it means something bad. She didn't know what it meant, but had learned it at school.
